SYNOPSIS After being told about a Filipino tradition, Joelle, an impressionable young girl, is convinced that demons will steal her deceased grandmother’s body if she leaves her alone. Despite her fear, she sneaks away from her mother and decides to spend the night in the funeral parlour where her willingness to stay connected to her beloved grandmother and her traditions is tested when a demon from Filipino folklore appears.
